Breathtaking Vintage Mopar $27,500
FOR SALE: 1969 Dodge Dart Convertible
Originally this was a yellow with black stripe car with 318 Motor.
I saw this car the day it was delivered to the body shop, dirty, but straight, and ready to begin restoration. I had a conversation with the owner that very day and have remained friends with him for several years.
Ultimately, I purchased the car when it was 99% complete and it remains in that state. As you can see from my pictures, the car is still missing some door rubbers and minor badging. The drive train, however, is complete. It includes, a wicked 340 with a purple camshaft, 650 CFM Demon Carb, all upgraded MSD Ignition System, among other performance upgrades. The Build/ID Serial Plate Tag was removed during it's restoration. I did not view this as a major issue when I purchased the car. I have replaced the transmission once and it remains 727 with a 3000 Stall Converter and 9" Rear. It's also a reverse valve body and is set up for racing. I have never raced the the car, but it will snap your head back in a hurry. One of the reasons I changed out the transmission was to make it a much more friendly driver. This is a real street and strip car. The paint is a custom color chosen by the restorer and is nearly flawless, but not perfect.

This is a RARE, ONE OF A KIND combination of Customized Build and Color. It has always been an eye popping, neck braking, totally unique ride... but it's time for a new home.
